Payment:
Payment is required on the day of your session and is accepted via credit card.
Medicare rebates:
A rebate of $145.25 is available for individuals with a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from their GP. To access the rebate, please arrange a referral through your GP. You can claim up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year under Medicare.
Private Health Insurance:
A partial rebate may be available through private health insurance, depending on your provider and level of cover. Please check with your insurer for details. Private health rebates cannot be claimed in conjunction with Medicare rebates.
Other funding:
Soul Bird Psychology currently works with Medicare and private paying clients. We are unable to accept other funding sources such as NDIS, WorkCover, or TAC at this stage.
Cancellation Policy:
Clients may cancel their appointment at any time, provided at least 48 hours’ notice is given. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not attend, the full session fee will apply.
Please note that Medicare and private health insurance rebates do not apply to cancelled or unattended appointments.
